30/04/2008
Bosch Packaging Technology, Friedbert Klefenz, president of the divisional board: “interpack is the most important trade fair for us. Interest in Bosch remains at an undiminished high. We are extremely pleased with the trade fair’s run – the response we received was extremely gratifying. Visitors were particularly interested in scalable automation, multi-functional product lines, modular machinery concepts as well as services tailored to individual needs.”
Oystar, Wolf-Dieter Baumann, CEO: “At our exhibition stand at the recently concluded interpack, we registered gratifyingly high levels of visitor traffic. The international mix of our discussion partners reflected the range of our target markets and underscored the status of the fair as the world’s preeminent barometer for the packaging industry.”
Multivac, Frieder Grimm, Director Corporate Marketing: “Measured in exhibition space, our stand expanded significantly, which is something we are very pleased about. Compared to the previous event, there has been another increase in terms of visitor quality and quantity. We received a great many specific orders in the area of special solutions – just as we had hoped.”
BASF, Dr. Sabine Phillip, Communication Plastics Trade press office: “We participated in interpack again for the first time in over 20 years. One of the reasons is that our packaging division is yet again bundled under one roof. The discussions that we conducted here proved to be very intensive, beneficial and profitable. We are pleased that after 20 years we decided to exhibit here again and hope to be back in three years time.”
Gerresheimer, Burkhard Lingenberg, Director Corporate
PR & Marketing: “Right from the start, the trade fair went well. Monday was simply overwhelming in terms of the contacts forged. Our contact forms are piled a good few inches high. We’ve got a lot of work lined up for us after interpack. What more could you want?”
Netstal-Maschinen, Reto Morger, Head of Marketing: “interpack is the ideal platform for us. Here we meet additional packaging industry target groups. Our first participation was definitely worthwhile for us and we see corresponding potential for the future. We focused on popular interpack themes such as energy efficiency and plastics made from renewable materials, and found that we were right on the mark. What’s more, we felt we were in good hands with the support provided by the Messe Düsseldorf team.”
Windmöller & Hölscher, Dr. Jürgen Vutz, CEO “For us interpack is particularly attractive because as exhibitors we showcase machinery that is of great interest to customers who are in turn also exhibitors at the fair. interpack is the only event where customers and suppliers are drawn to a common exhibitor platform, something you really won’t find anywhere else. This time, we had a great many visitors. Overall, our new exhibits were also exceptionally well received. The fair’s international reach was fantastic – just as we’d hoped it would be. We’re now looking forward to drupa!”
Alcan Packaging, Marie Berard, Director Communications: „interpack is Alcan Packaging's preferred tradeshow. We believe that it is an opportunity to reach customers around the world because it is the most well known exhibition. It's an occasion to meet existing as well as new customers and share with them, and the rest of the world, our ‘Inspired Solutions’“
Sidel, Paola Mignani, Business Communication Director: “We had lot of customers from all over the world, even 15% each from America and Asia, which is very good. A lot of them were interested in our aseptic filling machine, and also in our innovative end of line solutions. In terms of visitor numbers, it is better this time than three years ago.”
Huber Packaging, Bernhard Kürschner, Head of Marketing and Public Relations: “On the main days of the trade fair, we were engaged in very good discussions with distinct promise for the future. Looking back on the successes at the fair, we can only sum it up as a really positive experience. We have been stepping out at interpack since the sixties and our decision to exhibit once again at interpack and especially in Hall 7.0 in 2008 was definitely the right one.”
Sollich, Thomas Sollich, Chairman: “It was a very good interpack, if not the best. As one of the trade fair’s founding members, we have been on board for 50 years and are thus in a position to know. The contacts we forged were not only of a high number but also of a high calibre. From the preparations to the stand we were allocated, its position and accessibility to the trade fair’s run – everything was completely in line with our expectations. We are already looking forward to interpack 2011.”
Bühler, Doris Sieber, Marketing Communications Manager, Engineering Products Division: “We have been exhibiting at interpack for 50 years. This staging was a huge success for us – possibly the biggest success of its kind ever. Right from the first hour, we received plenty of visitors and made sales every day. That is an excellent result and one not achieved at every fair. We have the impression that interpack’s significance is continually increasing. Here, all the world’s leading companies are represented on site.”
INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING
ProCarton, Jürgen Bihler, Head of the Information Office, Germany: “My compliments to Messe Düsseldorf on the design of the INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING. Our members felt very much at home there and reported meeting a wealth of potential customers, including some from lines of business different from the norm.”
EHI, Marco Atzberger, Director Research Services: “We met with a fantastic response at our competence center. Isolated concerns in the run-up to the event about not being able to fully reach target groups such as manufacturers of branded goods at interpack proved completely unfounded.”
PDA, Hartmut Bandke, Executive Committee Member: “We look back on a successful fair. We had numerous constructive discussions with a vast number of interested visitors at the PDA stand and the project work between our members and other exhibitors at the INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING proceeded very well in every respect.”
COPACO, Karl-Reiner Müller, Managing Director: “The concept was very well received. Visitors and exhibitors considered it a great idea. The support provided by Messe Düsseldorf also deserves strong praise. The INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING is characterised by thorough dovetailing. It’s a pleasure to work in such a seamlessly integrated environment.”
Seyfert, Wolfgang Nothaft, Head of the Competence Center: “The INNOVATIONPARC PACKAGING is an outstanding and multifaceted concept that promotes innovation and the exchange of ideas. It far exceeded my expectations.”
Bioplastics in Packaging
European Bioplastics, Dr. Harald Käb, Chairman: “What started out as a spontaneous idea in 2005 has become THE European exhibition of the bioplastics industry – ‘Bioplastics in Packaging’. Throngs of visitors, highly satisfied exhibitors – what more could you want?”
