LINPAC Allibert Ltd and Polymer Logistics reach settlement agreement

LINPAC Allibert Ltd and Polymer Logistics are companies at the forefront of the retail ready packaging industry, and invest significant resources in researching, developing and protecting their respective products.

Following the introduction by Polymer of its “Poly-nest” range of containers, an action for infringement of intellectual property rights in the LINPAC MaxiNest range of products was brought by LINPAC against Polymer.

After negotiation at the highest level, the dispute between LINPAC and Polymer has now been settled, with LINPAC and Polymer agreeing terms by which Polymer is permitted to continue to produce its “Poly-nest” range of containers on payment of royalties for use of LINPAC’s IPR.
