American dairy adopts Sidel's dry preform sterilisation solution

Byrne Dairy has become the first American dairy to adopt Sidel's Predis dry preform decontamination system in order to better serve its milk and dairy product customers in the Eastern United States.

The company has selected a Sensofill FMm Combi Ultra line from Sidel, which has an output of 18,000 bottles per hour and incorporates the Predis system with bottle blow moulding and filling. This, says Byrne Dairy, offers a more efficient, sustainable, and competitive cost structure than conventional extended shelf life or aseptic solutions.
