Natureworks and Resinex agree European supply deal

Ingeo biopolymer by US-based NatureWorks LLC will be supplied to all European member states by the Resinex Group after the two companies agreed a partnership deal.

Ingeo, which is a range of materials made from plants rather than oil, will be supplied for the packaging and foodservice industries. NatureWorks claims that Ingeo uses 65 per cent less fossil fuel resources than traditional polymers such as PET, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 80-90 per cent from cradle to pellet.

The Resinex Group specialises in the supply of a full range of raw and blended materials to plastics converters.
